Residents invited to share views
The first steps towards creating a new Jurby community facility could be taken this evening.
A public meeting's been organised at the Parish Hall at 7pm, to gather ideas and views from residents.
From September, part of the Jurby Health Centre will be available to use freely, while interest has also been expressed in developing part of the former Jurby camp for community use.
Ayre & Michael MHK Tim Baker says although it's early days, already, a number of ideas - such as a skate park, tennis court and wildlife area - have been put forward.
