Vandals thought to be responsible for attacking a Christmas lighting display in Castletown Square have been identified, and reported to police on suspicion of commiting offences of criminal damage.
The 'Enchanted Forest' display was targeted last Sunday night (December 12).
Police in the south of the Island say they are saddened that such an act should have been committed, against an item designed to give enjoyment to the local community.
They are also thanking the public for their help in ensuring such incidents are rare.
