Weekly surveillance report highlights rise in cases

Public Health Isle of Man says flu-like illnesses are increasing in the community.

The body's latest weekly surveillance report has highlighted a rise in cases, based on GP consultations.

Yesterday (15 December), Manx Care introduced mask-wearing in healthcare settings in a bid to reduce the spread of infection.

Public Health has been advising anyone who is eligible to become protected by getting a flu vaccine.
