Plans to go before Tynwald
The chief minister says people want to see progress being made on Douglas promenade, particularly now there is a proposal for the redevelopment work.
Tynwald members will be asked to approve the plans by the infrastructure minister in Tynwald this coming week.
If it's backed, the £20 million scheme is scheduled to start in September next year.
