A public consultation is to be held on the concept of holding a morning practice session during this year's TT fortnight.
The news was announced yesterday as entries for this year's event officially opened.
However, if it goes ahead, the session on Thursday, May 29 would be between 10.15am and 12.40pm, not in the early hours of the morning as was the case for many years.
Last year, the Superbike race was postponed until Mad Sunday to allow competitors additional practice, after time was lost in practice week because of bad weather and other problems.
So how has the idea been received?
