Emergency plans swung into action on Saturday night to help revellers stranded in Douglas by the snow.
The Sea Terminal was used to accomodate around 70 party-goers who found themselves stuck in the capital, after weather conditions changed for the worse.
Police asked for the building to be opened in accordance with a prepared plan to deal with such a situation.
All three emergency services, together with the St John Ambulance, catering staff and civil defence volunteers, were there to lend a hand.
