PSM residents invited to attend information session on high street reconstruction

Plans are to reconstruct the road due to its deteriorating condition

Port St Mary residents are invited to attend a special information session at the Town Hall today (8 September) to give their views on a 'major reconstruction' of the high street due to its deteriorating condition. 

A specialist contractor surveyed the street with further investigations expected to be undertaken in the coming months. 

As part of the scheme, the department has developed two potential parking layouts and wants feedback from residents and the commissioners.

The information session will take place between 4.30pm - 6.30pm. 

Members of the public will also be able to view drawings of the proposals at the session.
