IOMPO reiterates no guarantee long-term solution can be found
Port St Mary post office will remain open whilst the future of the service is still being decided.
IoM Post Office says Jeff Calvert has agreed to continue in the subpostmaster role at this time.
The postal service adds this is whilst it can 'fully explore a late expression of interest'.
Mr Calvert will stay in post whilst the procurement process continues to avoid a break in services if a suitable provider is found.
However, the post office has warned there's still no guarantee a long-term solution can be found at this stage.
The deadline for expressions of interest in running services there is Noon on Tuesday, 26 October
