PSM board want views on future of run-down toilet block

Ideas needed for Gellings Avenue facilities

Commissioners in Port St Mary want to know what should be done with a run-down toilet block in the village.

The local authority is asking the public for ideas over the future use of the outdated facilities on Gellings Avenue.

More than £3,000 would be needed to connect the toilet block to an electricity supply, with a solar power option costed at around  £5,500. 

Once the Gellings Avenue conveniences close, facilities with disabled access and baby changing facilities at the Town Hall will be made available seven days a week. 

Those with suggestions for the building's future are asked to contact the local authority's clerk.
