Ease conditions for rising older population
It's time to prioritise dementia care; strategising to make life more comfortable for sufferers as cases rise in an aging population.
Those words from the Health and Social Care Minister - who's leading the way in identifying solutions to subsidise the cost to government.
Kate Beecroft is now in talks with UK not-for-profit organisation, Belong; looking to find land in the Isle of Man for a dementia village.
Belong has amassed over 20 years experience in the sector, with five other successful communities across the North West of England.
If it's to work alongside the DHSC; it would need to compete for the tender.
Mrs Beecroft says there's common sense behind the idea:
'Essential' that school staff recognise the signs of an allergic reaction
'High' risk of wildfires over the next week
'Come From Away' to continue after cast member injured during rehearsal
'Parks in worse state then when I started' says Peel commissioner
