DoI plans to turn road into leisure route
Marine Drive in Braddan could close to vehicles, giving sole access to pedestrians and cyclists.
The Department of Infrastructure has opened a consultation on the plans, seeking feedback from the public.
It hopes to add Marine Drive to the growing list of leisure routes around the Island, in line with government's active travel strategy.
The department says it will also allow people to use the road without worrying about other forms of traffic.
