
A new spot for the bus station in Douglas has been proposed by the Department of Infrastructure.
At a news conference this afternoon, Director of Highways Richard Pearson outlined the department's preferred view to relocate to Victoria street.
Bus stops would be sited along the north side of the road with a walkway shelter along the roadside.
The plans are now going out to public consultation until September.
Mr Pearson says in this busy part of the town there'll still be enough room for traffic:
