Estate agent Chrystals says despite a year of economic turmoil around the globe, house prices in the Isle of Man have risen over the last twelve months.
The company says the average price of a house has gone up by four per cent and currently stands at £292,000.
But there is bad news for flat owners, with the average price of an apartment tumbling from £280,200 to £235,600.
Chrystals also says there has been sustained and consistent demand from high net worth individuals and the top end of the market is still strong.
