Bad boys of indie rock the Happy Mondays are on the Island today (Thursday) to play a big gig at the Villa Marina.
The evening will also feature Liverpool band The Soviet, who release a new album on Friday, as well as a VIP party at the Courthouse nightclub, with DJs from the famous Manchester club the Hacienda.
Promoter Neal Clague says, much to the relief of hotel owners everywhere, the band has mellowed somewhat with age:
