Parts of the Island’s police service could be privatised.
That's according to Chief Constable Gary Roberts.
He says all areas of government are being asked to save money as budgetary restraints continue to bite.
Mr Roberts admits under those circumstances he’s examining whether some areas of the force would be better off being run privately.
However, he insists protecting front-line services will always be a priority.
