Issues discussed at Social Affairs Policy Review Committee
The Manx health service is looking to private therapists for support, with growing pressure on its resources during the Covid-19 crisis.
It was one of the issues raised at a hearing of the Social Affairs Policy Review Committee, chaired by MHK Julie Edge.
Chief Operating Officer for the Department of Health and Social Care is Angela Murray.
Giving evidence to the committee, she said they'd need funding for a private pool of therapists, but it would be of great benefit:
