A 39-year-old man who had nearly 70 ecstasy tablets in his house has been told he could well go to prison.
David Joseph Steventon, of Heather Crescent in Pulrose, admitted attempting to possess the drug when he appeared before the deputy high bailiff.
Police executed a search warrant at Steventon's home at 1pm on February 3, and found 68 tablets in a drawer in his bedroom.
He was not in at the time but was arrested upon his return.
Steventon told police the tablets were for his own use and he no intention of supplying them to anyone else.
He was released on bail until April 30 for reports, and was told custody was highly likely.
