
Anyone attempting to smuggle drugs or other forbidden items into the Isle of Man Prison is going to find it more difficult from now on.
Operation Design is aimed at safeguarding inmates, visitors and staff by targeting those who deliberately flout the rules.
From now on there will be random searches of suspicious vehicles or people with the use of the highly trained sniffer dogs.
It's not just drugs they'll be looking for, visitors are also not allowed to take in cigarettes or mobile phones.
