Changes recently made at Jurby facility
The Department of Home Affairs says it's pleased with the progress being made on how it deals with vulnerable offenders at the Isle of Man Prison.
A recent report by the Prison and Probation Ombudsman found mental health services at the Jurby facility were "inadequate and unsafe".
Following an inquest last month into the suicide of an inmate, the Department confirmed changes had been made.
Chief Officer Dan Davies says these changes are already having an impact:
Plans to boost dyslexia support 'game changing'
Police hope to extend Operation Needle next year
Victim Support: 'No World Cup match result should put you at risk of domestic abuse'
Dyslexia recommendations are 'practical, proportionate and achievable'
