Auction has some star items
A local primary school is raising funds for a new playground by hosting an auction.
Scoill Phurt le Moirrey is due to host the event tonight at 5pm in Port St Mary.
Items will include a brand new guitar donated by blues artist Davy Knowles, an Olympic gillet from Zoe Gillings and a cap signed by Olympic cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins.
Headteacher Ange Callaghan says the playground will provide something more to the local area:
