OPEL level downgraded after people told to keep away
Pressure levels on Noble's Hospital are said to have eased today - just days after people with minor ailments were told to avoid the emergency department.
The hospital has spent the last three days operating at OPEL Level 3.
According to NHS England that means a local health and social care system is experiencing major pressures compromising patient flow (and continues to increase).
Manx Radio has asked Manx Care to provide a spokesperson for interview.
However today chief executive Teresa Cope has released a video explaining the situation and says they've downgraded to Level 2 (12 November):
Callers to Manx Radio's Mannin Line yesterday (11 November) had expressed their concern about the situation at Noble's Hospital.
Stella and Avril had both attended the medical facility recently and claimed to see staff at stretching point:
You can find the OPEL framework HERE.
According to Manx Care a second video will be released this evening (12 November).
