Four amateur cooks are set to see who can take the heat in the 'I Love Manx Chef' competition at the Royal Manx Agricultural Show next weekend.
The semi-final line-up consists of Pam Crowe and Andy Guy, from the south of the Island, and northerners Chris Callow and Sultana Hoque.
The winners of those contests will progress to the grand final at the Isle of Man Food and Drink Festival, at the Villa Marina gardens on September 25.
There they will have to impress not only the public, but also celebrity chef Gino D'Acampo, who will be judging their efforts.
