A question has been raised over how 'green' the Manx Electricity Authority's new Green tariff really is.
Last week it was announced Marks and Spencer had become the first customer to sign up to the scheme.
The electricity used by participating companies is generated by the hydro-electric plant at Sulby, and the energy from waste plant at the bottom of Richmond Hill.
However, Friends of the Earth spokesperson in the Isle of Man Cat Turner says energy from the latter facility isn't renewable:
