The controversial plan to unify the Isle of Man's public sector pension schemes is the topic for the latest meeting of a local pressure group this evening (Monday).
The Positive Action Group's Chris Blyth will lead a discussion, titled 'Pensions Turmoil', at the Manx Legion Club in Douglas, at 7.30pm.
He says the Manx government's draft proposals, if approved, would leave future generations to pick up the bill, adding they ignore and 'ride roughshod' over the reforms to public sector pensions in the United Kingdom, recommended by Lord Hutton.
The meeting is open to everyone and admission is free.
