Tynwald falls silent in honour of the late Duke of Edinburgh
Tynwald has fallen silent for one minute in honour to His Late Royal Highness, The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
President of Tynwald Steve Rodan spoke of his visits to the Isle of Man in 1949, 1955, 1969, 1989 and the two visits on Tynwald Day in 1979 and 2003.
The Duke of Edinburgh's funeral is due to take place at Windsor Castle on Saturday.
Mr Rodan spoke on behalf of the members and the Island's people to offer condolences
