
A steady trickle of voters has been reported heading to the polls in Peel today.
They are taking part in a by-election to decide who will replace former commissioner Iaen Skidmore, who stepped down last month because of work commitments.
The two-way contest, between businessman Ian Davison and chartered accountant Neil Cushing, is the second the local authority has had in six months.
The polling station at Corrin Hall in Derby Road opened at 8am and closes at 8pm.
