
Several stores on Michael Street in Peel were forced to close this morning due to a power cut in the area.
Many shops were unable to trade as their electronic tills were out of action.
It's not known what caused the problem but MEA engineers have been at the scene and it's understood the vast majority of supplies were restored in the late morning.
