President of Mec Vannin Bernard Moffatt says the Island may have handed over more power to Westminster without most people realising it.
The government has signed a new international identity agreement with the UK to allow it to act on our behalf in the worldwide arena.
But a subtle change in wording means the UK doesn’t need our permission to sign us up to accords and agreements.
Mr Moffatt (pictured) says it’s a small change which could have wide implications:
Person dies following road traffic collision at Hillberry
Contractors to start installing 20mph signs in Douglas and Onchan
Accessible bus stops rolled out across Bus Vannin network
Road closures in place following incident in Hillberry area
