Organisation says expansion is timely ahead of Christmas
Building on an extension has started at the headquarters of the Isle of Man Post Office.
Parcel Hall is expanding, so the roof will cover the entire loading area meaning staff will be able to load their vans under shelter.
The organisation says despite the numbers of letters being sent going down, parcel numbers are on the rise.
It says the expansion is timely work, ahead of the busiest time of the year approaching - Christmas.
Work is due to be completed by mid-November.
