More concern over post office than community centre
A Ramsey MHK says local people who campaigned to save the town's post office in the Courthouse, need to know what happens next - now the plan has failed.
Last week the co operative group which had been negotiating a take-over with Isle of Man Post Office, announced it had failed to agree terms.
That closed the door on plans for a new-style post office to be run as a locally-owned partnership from the popular landmark.
Leader of the co operative group Nigel Malpass says they still plan to start a community initiative in the Courthouse building.
But MHK Leonard Singer says the future of the town's post office is more important:
