Minister looking to build partnership
The first round of talks with the BBC over value for money from the television licence fee for Island residents have been described as "positive".
So says Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas after his recent meeting with BBC Director of English Regions Helen Thomas.
Further meetings will take place over the coming months.
Mr Thomas told Tynwald the Isle of Man is definitely on the BBC radar and quoted a recent example:
