
One person needed treatment for smoke inhalation after a fire at their house in Port St Mary this morning.
Fire crews from Port Erin were called out to the property on Victoria Road at around 6.40am.
The resident told them there was a fire in the kitchen which they had attempted to extinguish.
Fire fighters put it out, then spent around half an hour making sure all hot spots were fully cooled.
The resident was treated at the scene by ambulance crews.
