President thanks those who've come forward to help 'safeguard' organisation's future
Port Erin’s branch of the Royal British Legion has been saved.
It now has a new chairman, secretary and treasurer who will be supported by seven others on the committee.
In October it was revealed that several people had stepped down due to ill health and the RBL was now 'struggling to find that next generation' of people to help continue the work.
President Juan Watterson has thanked everyone who has helped 'safeguard' the organisation’s future saying he’s looking forward to working with the new team over the coming year.
