22-year-old yet to enter plea
A Port Erin man's been remanded in custody, accused of raping a woman at gunpoint.
Twenty-two-year-old Toby Wood of the Edremony Estate appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas courthouse.
He's pleaded not guilty to burgling a property on Castletown Road in Port Erin on 23 October, but hasn't yet entered a plea to rape.
He's alleged to have jumped into the back of a woman's car in Port Erin on 7 November and forced her to drive to the Ballamaddrell Estate before raping her.
Mrs Hughes remanded him in custody and he'll next appear in court on 15 December.
