Police say they are not yet in a position to name the person who died in a house fire in Port Erin at the weekend.
A man has been "identified locally" in the Island's media, but officers dealing with the case said today they still had to carry out a post mortem.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and a detailed forensic examination is continuing at the scene.
