A candidate standing for Port Erin Commissioners says she would like to do more to support the elderly people in the village.

Fenella Gray, who runs the Southern Charitable Causes shop, wants to make some 'improvements' to the community if she is elected.

There are two available seats in the Port Erin Commissioners by-election, and residents will be able to vote from 8am until 8pm on Thursday 17 July at the commissioner's offices on Bridson Street.

Local Democracy Reporter Emma Draper has been speaking to Mrs Gray:

The other candidates standing in the by-election are Jimmy Cubbon and Karl Drinkwater.
