How will government track increase of residents?
Government needs to collect information about the Isle of Man’s population ‘more swiftly’ and make it more ‘readily available’.
That’s the view of the interim chief secretary who has given evidence to the Population Rebalancing Committee.
Caldric Randall was quizzed about the ambition to grow the number of residents to 100,000 by 2037 and how this would be tracked.
He admits that more data would be needed:
