Push for more volunteers
Island volunteers for the Royal British Legion are appealing for more members after the launch of this year's poppy appeal.
The campaign officially got underway on Saturday with a presentation and pipe band performance at the Strand Shopping Centre in Douglas with local cadets raising funds through the sale of poppies.
The poppy is a symbol of remembrance, commemorating those who've died in war and raises funds for the Royal British Legion to help members of the British military.
