The Poortown Road is due to be closed during the day for up to two weeks from today (Monday 5 August).
It's so the Department of Infrastructure can install road studs between Peel and Ballig Bridge.
Weather permitting, the closure will be in place between 9.30am and 3.30pm on weekdays.
The work's expected to take between seven and nine working days.
