Poor weather casts doubt over Manxman sailings

Tonight's Heysham crossings could be affected

***UPDATE: Tonight's 8:15pm sailing is leaving as scheduled.

The earlier Liverpool to Douglas sailing due to set off at 7:15pm will be slightly delayed however, due to tidal conditions at the Merseyside dock.

It's expected to leave by 7:45pm.***

Tonight's sailings to Heysham and back are subject to possible disruption or cancellation.

The 8:15pm Manxman sailing to Lancashire and 2:15am return are in doubt because of forecast adverse weather conditions.

A strong wind warning is in operation with winds due to increase later this evening.

The Steam Packet says the Master of the Vessel will make a decision by 5:30pm.
