Karran speaks out after drug reform meeting this week
A former government minister believes politicians needs to 'get away from dog dirt and potholes' and focus on developing a strategy for a better, safer, Isle of Man.
Peter Karran attended a meeting this week discussing drug policy and changes that could be made to potentially better protect the community.
The group Anyone’s Child: Families for Safer Drug Control claims regulating illicit substances, would take away the power from criminals.
Mr Karran told Manx Radio the idea of putting everything in the criminal justice system is 'crazy and ineffective':
