MLP opposes public sector rent rises
Whatever can help struggling members of society at the moment must be done, to help with the pressure they are under.
The Manx Labour Party says with that in mind, it has vowed to oppose public sector rent rises for the next financial year.
The decision comes following a meeting of the party, at the time of year when central government starts planning the new rate and writes to local authorities for their views.
