Policies not personalities is what matters

The next Council of Ministers needs to be based on policy not personalities.

That’s the view of Onchan MHK Peter Karran, one of two candidates vying for the Island’s top political job on Tuesday.

On Friday, Mr Karran took the unusual step of making public his preferred line-up for the next cabinet.

He says there’s a clear reason for that.

Both Mr Karran and the other contender for the job, Ramsey MHK Allan Bell, will be speaking to Roger Watterson live on Sunday Opinion on Manx Radio from midday on Sunday.
