Police in the Isle of Man are confident they can cut crime by 30 per cent in the next two years.
A detection rate of 51 per cent puts the Island's police force head and shoulders above any other in the British Isles.
Chief Constable Mike Langdon says there are encouraging signs in the figures for violent crime, and his officers will be focusing on domestic violence in the coming year:
