Follows social media claims about convicted child killer
Police on the Isle of Man say they won’t comment on the ‘identity, whereabouts or personal circumstances’ of individuals.
It’s after a Facebook page - called ‘UK Database' - alleged that a convicted child killer from the United Kingdom was now living on the Island.
The post has been widely circulated on social media by Manx residents.
In a statement the Isle of Man Constabulary told Manx Radio: “The Isle of Man Constabulary is aware of social media posts circulating online.
"However the constabulary does not comment on the identity, whereabouts or personal circumstances of individuals.”
