Data collection event taking place on 30 May
Police are warning people to be on their guard against census fraudsters.
They say the data collection activity could be used as an opportunity by people looking to scam via phishing emails or text messages.
The Isle of Man Census will take place on 30 May.
Officers say text messages are not being used by the team to contact residents and have urged people with concerns to contact the census office directly.
You can email census@gov.im or telephone 01624 685700.
