Reports of fake Manx Telecom calls made
Police are receiving reports of scam phone calls being made claiming to be from Manx Telecom.
The scammer is attempting to get victims to download a remote access tool in order to gain control of their computer to assist with a 'payment issue'.
Residents are urged to hang up on suspicious calls and verify the legitimacy by calling the organisation direct.
