Follows death of 73-year-old great-grandmother
Police are appealing for the person who left a 73-year-old great-grandmother to die in the road to hand themselves in.
Carolyn Buchan was found on Marathon Avenue, in Douglas, by a member of the public just after 7am yesterday (20 March).
Officers believe she was hit by a vehicle which then failed to stop at the scene.
Her family have issued a statement saying they need answers and have described the Hospice volunteer as the 'salt of the earth' and someone who 'would do anything for anyone'.
