Officers have already used Naloxone with success
Police on the Isle of Man now have access to a lifesaving drug which can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.
Selected officers have been trained to use the nasal spray Naloxone.
Overdoses can be caused by prescription medications as well as illegal drugs including heroin.
Police say they’ve recently used it to save a person’s life which demonstrates how useful the drug, and the training, was and will be in the future.
