Police constables will receive an additional salary increase following the UK government's announcement of pay rises effective from September.
The Isle of Man Constabulary maintains 'parity' with UK pay and conditions, meaning any changes to salaries in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are mirrored here.
The UK's latest offer further boosts that figure by 4.75 percent, bringing the starting pay to £33,690 and rising to £48,231 after three years of service.
In a social media post, spokesperson says that the rise is "in recognition that the salary needs to reflect the role and work that officers do in looking after their communities".
